ORGANISATIONAL DIAGNOSTIC PROFILING

ODPTM – the Organizational Diagnostic Profiler, is a powerful interactive Corporate Diagnostic Tool which has been designed to capture quickly and efficiently core information on the people dimension of a business.

Increasingly, competitive advantage is recognized in the intellectual capital of the organization. Competitive alignment requires timely, precise information from key stake holders so that strategy, tactics and resource deployment can be adjusted at frequent intervals. Employees are one of the major key holders and integration of information from this source with other key organizational metrics is vital.

ODP is the only product, which can deliver this information immediately because of its real time nature and the principals of the organizational model it incorporates. Automated surveys have the capacity to improve response levels and analysis times. However, this does not improve the quality of the analysis. To achieve this, a standard approach must be applied so that analyzers will objectively analyze the data in a scientific way and reach the same, or at least, similar conditions.

The principle of ODP is that commonality exists
between all organizations:
Organizations exist for a reason ie. They have a GOAL
To achieve the goal they must organize ie. Derive a STRUCTURE
A structure must be populated with people and
hence RELATIONSHIPS are created
The CLIMATE must motivate people to stay in the relationship/structure
LEADERS are required to define goals, ensure participation and provide order
There must be a means by which work gets done ie. PROCESS

The above six factors in the ODP model contain three criteria and a pre-defined ideal. Each criteria has five statements giving a total of 90 standard statements. It is possible to add extra questions that can be company-specific.
